I tried it without shadows and there is NO error .. but there is no watermark either ... any idea why ?

No error = good sign!
no watermakr either = ouh well... j/k


but when u enable shadows, it doesnt give u error, that .ttf file can not be found?

.... I do not know what happen I should think I set the correct path to my .ttf file.

Sorry about that .. I saw the settings already .. goign to test it out now ...

this had some problems and I tried pasting it into wordpad b4 pasting it back... all the lines of code were there only did not appear

Could I suggest that you compile all into a text file... maybe it will work better

I forgot to post today that I did not turned the "auto-resize-function" on in admin menu. I guess this was the reason for the error code above from 26.2.2003, since it disappeared...

So the current status is the one of this morning in the other thread. It resizes automatically the images, which exceed the max. restriction in the admin-menu.

But as far as I remember it just looks at the width restriction, not at the height restriction.

Is there such a function to turn on in the admin menu? I cannto find the auto resize function ...

I am getting the same error too ... Although installed the mod but cannot work ... it seems that any thing that deals with converting of images .. there is a problem between windows and unix ...

can u do any image manipulations from admin control panel? if not, then ask your host what wrong, it's really nothing to do with the script itself.

Yes I can .. I can do the Auto Image Resize from my admin panel ... the one that is manually done .. but weird is cannot use your mod ...

Before publishing this mod, I was asking people here to test it on *nix systems, but unfortunatelly got to response, niether negative, nor positive. What you can be sure is that this mod running without any problems on at least 2 galleries - V@no and mine, but both of us running on Windows. So, I'd be happy to help you, but I just can't...

tradertt also asked to explain what's all these errors about... that's pretty simple. When you enable shadows in this mod, this is done in two passes: first you draw you text with shadow color, and second pass draws the same text with foregroung color and with an offset of 1px. So, this error saying that system is not able to rename *.shd file, which appears after first pass, probably it was never created for some reason  

Do you think it will work if I do not enable shadows?

Thank you for that reply. So there is no work around for it at the moment issit? Are you working on another version that might be compatible with *nix? Hope that is the case but anyway GREAT WORK.

Thx for that ... I have emailed my host and he has given me the full path. It seems to be working ... but for the error above... Are you using watermark too?
