Yes. I install locall Apache server with PHP and MSQL onto my computer and ther this work fine. My hoster is not well
Thanks you for your advise . I think this is the exelent way to protekt pictures for users off this fine script. Thanks again and again.

If you want to have stats not onle for 5 images  change in  admin/home.php  number in line  $stats_limit = 5;  5 - defolt you can use other number. But in hearder of the table will be write 5.

I dont have in my mind that code is broken. Jan explaned what to do and I resive some good rezults, but I dont understand all good, because I dont know PHP, I am not a programist.  Thanks to Jan I change something in this file, but with keywords I made something wrong. I understand that EDWIN made this too and resive a good rezult, I dont understand something and I hope that somebody can help me. Sorry for my bad English.

ACDSee 5 has IPTC but it not comfortable. I recomend you FOTOSTATION

If you use photoshop in FILE\FILE INFO you can discribe you photo. Also you can easy do it in FOTOSTATION/ Then you upload photos to your 4images site via FTP and check NEW IMAGES. near the fields for discription, date and keywords you will see buttons to move information from IPTC info. If you will click it , all that you wrote in FILE INFO will be copy in this field, it is very comfortable. And in this topic I try to understand how can I automate this without pressing buttons.
Sorry my english very bad. I have good rezult with discription and date but with keyword I have mistake.

Thanks, with this file I protected my files from downloading, but I can,t download them with the script too. Hom I can sepsrate this ? or this is not possible ?

I try this, but this dont work, or I made a mistake. Explane me please. I create  file .htaccess  (

In this file i change www.mysite.org for the real adress of my site and put it into the folder where I have images for download ( this is not "media/photo" folder with prevue that use in the page that script generate, this is filder with full size images that I created ). But then I can't download image. I deleted  thiz file and script begin work fine.  What mistake I made - help me/  :

I have folder with big images for reg. users, can I save images in this folder from direct download via browser without using script?? I head that i must  close acsess to this folder from HTTP protocol, will this help? :

Privet. I am Russian too. I dont translate interface in Russian, but I was need in Russian words in discription. It's very easy
change the encoding to "windows-1251" in header.html and it should work.
In this forum I found russian language 4image site http://aleksey.h1.ru/4images.

Explain to me please. If at me in installations option Auto-create thumbnail is marked and specified Conversion tool for thumbnails by pressing Check new images command, whether will be created thumbnails automatically. (on FTP upload only files prevue)

See the first function get_iptc_insert_link() in "admin/admin_functions.php". There you will find the code how to handle the date and the keywords.

Let's assume, on a server, in a folder 4images, I have created folder DOWNLOADS. I have placed there larger files with images, on a case if my friends will want to receive the image with the big rezolution. Names at these files and at files prevue identical. I would like, that by pressing command CHECK NEW IMAGES, in field DOWNLOAD URL, the way to a file with the big sanction from folder DOWNLOADS, instead of to a file prevue was automatically brought
