Headlines over categorys

First, sorry about bad English but i will try to explain my problem.

I would like to change how the category list shows
Now i have it like this:

*Congratulations   Main category
  Birthdays           Sub category
  New baby          Sub category
  Etc                    Sub category

Birthdays, new baby and etc are subcategory's to Congratulations
Is it possible to get a non clickable headline over the subcategorys like this:

Congratulations   (Headline) No link, not clickable
Birthdays                      Sub category
New baby                     Sub category
Etc                               Sub category

Flowers   (Headline) No link, not clickable
Roses                 Sub category
Tulips                 Sub category
Etc                    Sub category

ON ACP you can set a description on a category.

The menu to the left on this site: http://www.care2.com/send/catthanks1.html is a good example
on what i am looking for. Would this be possible in 4images?

1. use for your categories a "additional_category_field" ... and name it "Headline" ...
    there are some tutorials by Ivan in the TUT-section for this ...
2. for such menu there are some MODs here ...

Thank you so very very much mawenzi

I have decided to go with the "additional_category_field" thing. I have read the tutorial
about additional image field (could not find one about categorys)and the topic about
"Show extra category fields" http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=21107.0 and i have to little knowledge
about this things and canīt figure out how to use that information to change my category settings.

If i could get some help i would be very grateful.
