Server Load increasing

Hi I'm using 4images 1.7.6 and i have 65,000 photos, I'm using 4images for 3 years but last 2 weeks the server load is increasing and the database load also increasing, i contact my hosting company they said the gallery database is creating too many query. Now how do i solve this problem please help me.

well there is no proper solution for this, I am facing the same issue i have very large gallery and I am facing the same issue, cache is enabled but in vain.

Hi,
Maybe your hardware is to small for your gallery. I have also gallerys with such numbers of images and they wirthout any problems. The first step to reduce query is to deactivate the random picture.
Do you have your own server?
If yes try to run the tuning-primer script and follow the instructions there;)
