E-Card Suggestion : Text Format
« on: January 24, 2003, 12:51:31 AM »
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way for the E-card text to show BELOW the e-card image instead of to the right? I just think it would make the e-card look nicer and be a bit easier to read without having to scroll down a really narrow-looking formatted text... especially if your gallery uses larger images.

Also, is there a possibility that the text could automatically format when there is a carriage return? As of now, if I separated a single or double carriage space between paragraphs in the text box, it will not apply to the final card. The text come out as a whole paragraph.

Lastly, a suggestion for the future...it would be nice if users could select fonts and such when writing e-cards from the gallery. Just a thought!

Thanks for your time and consideration!

Just change the templates, ie. postcard_send.html

Thank you, Jan!  I should have known to edit postcard_send.html!  I also fixed the tables in postcard_preview.html so now the message text in both preview and send cards are below the photo.

Hey, can HTML be enabled in the Message text box?

 :)

Change
Code: [Select]
"message" => htmlspecialchars($image_row['postcard_message'])
to
Code: [Select]
"message" => $image_row['postcard_message']
in postcards.php

The code Jan posted was 2 years ago and for version 1.7.  It may not work with 1.7.1
