oh, now you mentioned this....the two SEO mods we have are not fully functional, meaning there are some changes in global.php must be done to support redirections.

If you need further assistance with this issue, please reply to the MOD's topic. The problem you have is not related to 4images itself.

index.php Wo öffnen...??
« Reply #17 on: November 02, 2008, 03:16:16 PM »
Hallo,

Not sure if this problem I have is the problem this thread is resolving. I tried the fix in my global.php but it didn't correct the problem.

What I have in my page is a problem after I login (tried several users including admin). The problem is it regularly logoff and I have to login back again. It is not a matter of how long I wait, I can be clicking images on the album continuosly and suddently I am not logged in anymore.

Is this a bug on 4Images or could it be because of the hosting I am using (ehostpros.com)

Any help really appreciated.

TIA

Hello and welcome to 4images forum.

If you didn't modify 4images (especially sessions.php) then there are two possibilities:
1) something wrong with your browser or your computer (perhaps other security software interference)
2) server's issue, most probably sessions don't work properly.

Well, obviously the first possibility is easy enough to trace: try on another browser and if possible on another computer.

If at the end you come to conclusion that it's the server's issue, maybe you could give us URL to your site for further investigation.

Hello and welcome to 4images forum.

I don't know how your login page works, but you can try "capturing" the page visitor came from and then adding it into a hidden <input>:
Code: [Select]
<input type="hidden" name="url" value="blah.php" />

Hi, V@no!  :)
This fix also didn't work for me - always ge redirected to index.php
I have this MOD installed: Search Engine Friendly URLs aka Short URLs ( http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6729.0 ), may it be the issue?  :roll:

By the way, after adding
Code: [Select]
<?php
global $url$user_info;
if (
$user_info['user_level'] == ADMIN) echo "URL: ".$url;
?>
into user_logininfo.html - I always see "URL: index.php" there...

Try add into user_loginform.html above </form>:

Code: [Select]
<?php
global $self_url;
echo
'
      <input type="hidden" name="url" value="'
.$self_url.'" />
'
;
?>
