Hi everyone wondering if anyone has a solutions for the issue l have found.

4images Vers 1.8
PHP version: 5.6.30
4images admin panel says it is running as GB Library

you can upload the file .gif to site without a trouble and can view it at the site

if you click on the download button of the image.gif it will ask save or open if you do either you can not view/see the image.gif at all

you get error saying
image.gif we can't open this file.

l have downloaded the same image.gif file direct using FTP from domain back to PC and can view it fine.

Thanks in advance for any help ! is driving me crazy

l use other sites running 4images set up the same and do not have this problem .

l tried to back up the data base in admin control panel noticed this red error at top
You can see the image when viewing on the site
when you download it you get a strange file white/blue
when you try view or open it you get we can't open this file

Hi everyone wondering if anyone has a solutions for the issue l have found.

The problem showed up in 1.7.11 so l undated to 1.7.13 and is still doing same thing.

PHP Version: 5.4 [ same problem when l used 5.3 or 5.5]
4images admin panel says it is running as GB Library

you can upload the file.gif to site without a trouble and can view it at the site

If you download the image.gif as a zip file then extract the file you can see the image
you can drag and drop the image into a folder and see the image, or can drag and drop into a photo editor and see the image

BUT if you click on the download button of the image.gif it will ask save or open if you do either you can not view/see the image.gif at all
you get error saying
image.gif we can't open this file.

l would post screen shots to explain better but l cant see how to do that.

Requests for paid modifications / Jobbörse / Looking for someone to custom make template

Hi guys & girls !!

l am looking for someone who is interested in Paid work. I require a template custom made and know what l need it to do but l'm only a noob at 4images and can not work it out myself, l have the basic understanding of 4images and can tweak alittle but not what l need done.

Anyone who maybe interested please send me a message so we can discuss idea's.

* Have own domain
* installed 1.7.8

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Cant see categories.php?cat_id in domain folder

Hi everyone not sure if l posted this in the right area. Am hoping l can get some help

l am using 4images 1.7.7 my problem is l have added new categories to  our shop they show fine in the 4images template and work, we can upload to them , delete from them etc but when l go into the domain main panel or FTP  l can not see the new id folders in data to multi upload into.

EG: l click on data > media and it shows me a list of folders from  1 to 244  but it does not show any past the number 244.  The new categories and sub categories are  EG: categories.php?cat_id=249 then the sub would be categories.php?cat_id=251 [ this is where l need to upload the images ]

I can upload to this categorie if l use the admin control panel within 4 images just fine and the image shows up in 4images


Any help would be very welcome !!

l have since added more categories and they dont seem to show up in FTP or Domain folder either, it is like 4images is not writting the information to domain to save id folders required for me to load via multi upload FTP l can only upload via 4images control panel

Hello l was hoping someone may be able to help me.

l am using 4images version 1.7.6

l am trying to get 2 buttons to show under the picture saying lightbox & download but no matter what l try l only get 1 button showing

my site l am learning on so you can see what l mean
xxx: xxx: wild0nexxx: /winzie/testsite/index. php
if you look you will see only a lightbox button will show under picture

if you look at this other site
xxx: xxx: aviinkxxx: /epaints/categories. php?cat_id=411
you will notice under each picture has 2 buttons - take it & add it

where/how do l make my 4images do this? any help would be wonderful !!

sorry if  my post  is done wrong 1st time l have posted here normaly l read and search the forums for help =]
