Hi cindy,

i think, ithis is no problem.
OK, a little.... No place for the link to the gallery.
Also the Member Area. Problem to integrate your Members in 4images database

here you can find a small demo with your style and images:
http://cindy.malediven-bilder.de

Your demo looks perfect!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

The "Creative Outlet" link will be the gallery.

I don't think the "Members Area" is a problem... once they login to that area they can still navigate the rest of the site, but of course they will have to login separately to the gallery if they want to upload images, that is not a problem.

Now, how do I get your beautiful demo into my site?

Hello again...

I have now installed your design on my site.... but, of course, my login info won't work so I can't access the admin area.

Hello

I've been reading through the forums and now realize (I think!!) that I need to use your design as a template. I have followed some instructions I found to install the template in my existing installation of 4images.

http://www.imagine-dream-create.com/gallery

Now I get this error message when I go to the gallery: Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/Free 4images templates_files/whos_online.html

I put the "Free 4images templates_files" folder into the templates folder (the same folder that "default" is located in). Then I put the "Free 4images templates_files.htm" file in the same folder as index.php and then I changed the extention of Free 4images templates_files.htm to Free 4images templates_files.php.

I then went to admin/settings and changed the template directory to Free 4images templates_files.

Then when you try to go to the gallery you get the above error message.

I'd love to know what I'm doing wrong so I can make this work!

I will keep searching the forums in the hopes of finding the answer.

Thank you so much for your time!!

Cindy

Hi,

a folder with a space is not good :?

Free 4images templates_files
better:
Free_4images templates_files

AND:
You havent install my style in your gallerie.
You have only put the code from my open finish page inside your templates.
This is a dynamic php script with empty templates (without every content, pics, cat....)
PHP make the page
Also you have the cats from my page in your site.

Hi,

i think your problem is not to activate the style

[qcode]
Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/newtemplate/whos_online.html
[/qcode]

:!:you have not all templates in your templates folder :!:
You must reed the errormessage

Hello Kurt,

Ok, I've fixed that problem.... now if you go on any page of my website and click on "Creative Outlet" it will take you directly to my gallery: http://www.imagine-dream-create.com/gallery .

Now what do you think I should do?

Can anyone guide me how to take Kurt's demo and install it in my site?

What I really want to do is make this: http://www.imagine-dream-create.com/gallery look like the rest of my website: http://www.imagine-dream-create.com .

I'd LOVE to get this done today!

Thanks to anyone who can tell me what to do!
