I just added another Gallery. But I could not remember what folder to make the changes in. I wasted time looking for it. I know it shows media up in the previous posts, but I do not think I am the only one that would miss that. So for those who use this topic as  reference, here is where you need to find these files in.

public_html/to your gallery folder/next to your templates/choose the template you are editing/next to media/pick the file to edit ...

public_html/to your gallery folder/next to your templates/choose the template you are editing/next to media/pick the file to edit jpg.html or aif.html au.html avi.html gif.html jpg.html  mid.html   mp3.html  mpeg.html  mpg.html  pdf.html  png.html  ra.html  rm.html   swf.html   wav.html zip.html This may not work for every file and unless the admins here have the time to post what you need for everyfile..good luck.

Man I feel silly than. I just have asked more members opinion. But what about the tweaking of the tables? YAY or NAY? Unfortunantly I do not know flash or I would gladly use it, and in our forums banner too. That one is about 4.4MB LOL, All I know is Photoshop. Thanks for your responses.

Will Changing any of these Tables increase my speed, MyISAM is used in most. I have already searched and found out how to disable the Random pictures. you can see the very slow speed here. http://www.godsofgamingclan.com/albums It has been this way since I can remember. I am expecting more traffic now and this wories me. Thank You.

When I and members send a link form the Navagation bar. It logs them in as that member sending the link. Than it also changes when I(or the person sending the link) logs in as another member. They log in and out with me, as I do to diferent accounts.

This is very disturbing please help.

I am sorry you are right! Thank You very much for this! Saves me loads of explaining to every gammer trying to post a sig or avatar.

I forgot to put  /albums/ after the .com ........http://www.example.com/albums/{media_src}

DO NOT COPY AND PASTE MY LINES INTO YOURS< I MADE SOME CHANGES FOR POSSIBLE SECURITY REASONS. THIS IS TO GIVE YOU A LOOK.
 

Go to the template folder/file, go to the media folder, a list of files types will appear. you must edit each one. near the end of each one you must put in. http://www.yoursite.com/TheSitesSubdomainIfThereIsOneHere{media_src}
Example here is mine for the Jpg and MP3 ones.

MP3 would look some thing like this.

Thank You Very Much this it what I was looking for.  What I have a problem with now is a period. For some reason this appears on the link. This makes the link invalid.  How Do I get rid of that period?

How do I make a the path link appear under the pictures? So people can easily hot link it to another website? If this is not possible, how do they find the path, to use to link the picture other places. I have asked something similiar before but there was no real explanation.

Hi I have a large picture of our Logo I would love to put in the background of our Template. I can save this picture in any form needed.  I just don't know how to add a picture that would blend into most of the page.


 Could someone please help with this? I am crunched with time and would love to launch this gallery soon.

try edit templates in templates/<yourtemplate>/media/ directory and use something like:
http://yoursiteaddress/4images/{media_src}

I am sorry I can not find what you are talking about.  SO far I just love this program but I am lacking the final most crucial thing I need. 

I need to be able to allow our users an easy way to link Their pictures to other places.  If you have ever used photobucket.com ...That is what I mean.  People using our gallery will want to link the pictures they put there,  to many other places on the web.  Please Help me make a way if possible, if there is not.  We are a computer multi-gaming clan and use Sigs and avatars we created a great deal on the web.   Big Request I know or maybe you have the answer that will make our gamers happy.

This may work... Delete it and do this... When you go to upload it... Do not upload the first Folder instead you will see a duplicate folder inside the first folder.... upload this folder and the php file you see there with it to the right spot.

I want my registered users to be able to easily link there uploaded pictures to places they would like..... Example for forum avatars and Forum signature pictures, send a quick link to freinds to view there picture. I hope I explained this well.

One more Quick question: Light Box is users private gallery that others can not see? Right?
