Hi I am using an older version 1.7.1, and for some reason I am now getting the following error message:
Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/default/media/php.html
I have done nothing to the gallery in ages, so I don't know why I am getting this now.
Hope someone can help

Actually, I have now just tried to find this file but can't find it anywhere:
templates/default/media/php.html
Any suggestion?

Hi,
i think, your page was hacked...

Look in the AdminControlPanel:
=> Valid file extensions

I have now just updated to 1.7.4 via Fantastico and am still having the same problem. I can't connect with the main gallery index page -- I am still getting the same error message.

Since you used cPanel, check your chmod settings as that sometimes that can screw those up

Hello;
try to login to your ACP typing http://path/to/your/gallery/admin/. If you can access to your administration, check latest submissions.
Go to "Edit images", on the left. Then, at the bottom of the right frame choose Order by: Date and Descending.
Then you will find a PHP file recently uploaded. You can there delete the file and the user who uploaded it. Returning to your gallery homepage would then be possible.
You may also check in what category the file has been uploaded, and check by FTP or your Cpanel file browser if it remains some "alien" files in your_site/data/media/cat_number/.

Thanks Manurom and others, the last suggestion seems to have done the trick.
