4Images config line for Netpbm
« on: September 02, 2005, 06:44:43 AM »
Ok, I've searched through the forums for an answer and am not finding it.

Which program is 4images expecting along with the path to netpbm?? there are a TON of programs in the netpbm/bin directory, which is the correct one?

As it turns out 4images doesn't need the name of a specific program, as the config implies, it needs the path to the binaries, got that figured out.

Now I'm getting zero byte thumbnails. Other threads have shown that this is most likely due to a version of Netpbm that isn't right for the OS. All of the links I've seen to pre-compiled versions of netpbm either don't work any more or don't have the package listed. Can anyone point me to a current link?

Thanks!

SR

lol, I switched to GD since it's supposedly installed on my server, and now thumbnailing is working properly, even though 4images previously told me GD wasn't installed properly. Go figure.

So this can be disregarded.

Thanks for all the replies!!
