Title: 1.7 >> 1.7.1 upgrade?

i have a fresh installation of 1.7 now do i replace all of the files from the 1.7.1 download and just upload them to my server to replace all of the other files? i did this once and when i tried to go to the directory nothing showed up. is there more to it than just replacing the files? if so what? thanks.

Just replace the files, including all subdirectories like admin, includes, etc.  there are no database changes between 1.7 and 1.7.1.  Make sure you copy the database information from your 1.7 config.php into the 1.7.1 config.new.php and rename that file to config.php

alright i didn`t do that with the config file thanks chris. i`ll give it another try.
