[1.7.4] ImageMagick thumbnail from bmp

I am running 4Images 1.7.4 under W2K3 & IIS6.0.
I want to have thumbnails of uploaded bmp an tif images, so I configured
4Images to run with ImageMagick but I only get thumbnails of uploaded .jpg images.
Is it possible to convert tif and bmp to thumbnails too?
