Hiho,

ich habe 4images frisch installiert, läuft auch soweit, nur die Thumbnail Fuktion will nicht so wie ich: An der Stelle wo das Thumbnail erscheinen sollte ist bei mir nur die Standartgrafik templates/default/icons/jpg.gif. Ich benutze ImageMagick.

Was muss ich tun um die Sache ans rennen zu bringen?

In den EInstellungen "ImageMagick" wählen und den Pfad eintragen und Thumbnails mit dem "Auto-Thumbnailer" erstellen.

Jap, das habe ich schon probiert, bringt aber nix... Oder habe ich den falschen Pfad eingetragen? Bei mir isses /usr/bin/convert. Oder ist nen anderes Programm gemeint?

Ich habs nochmal mit NetPBM versucht: Die Sache mit den Thumbnails funktioniert jetzt auch, jedoch nur wenn jemand nen Bild von seiner Festplatte als Quelle angibt. Wenns als URL angegeben wird, wird kein Thumnail erstellt. Auch wenn ich im CP den AutoThumbnailer laufen lasse tut sich nichts.

Was kann ich da tun?

Nichts. Ist doch klar, dass Du auf einem anderen Server keine Thumbnails erstellen kannst. Oder hättest Du gerne, dass ich lustig Thumbnails auf Deinem Server erstelle ;)

Ne, aber ich hätte gerne dass sich mein Server dass Bild von der URL holt, konvertiert und auch Thumbnails bereitstellt. Oder geht das nicht?
