Adding a big number of users to a usergroup
« on: November 15, 2006, 10:44:39 AM »
How can I add 1500 Users to a usergroup without doing it for every single User?

I searched mysql but I didn't find the option to refer the usergroup-id to the user-id...

Can anybody help?

Very funny, we have our reasons and they are completely logical.

Everybody is then in the Usergroup "Comments allowed" and when he makes silly comments or Spam we delete his membership in this usergroup and he can't comment anymore but he can still upload and view pics...

Makes very much sense or not?

There is apparently no other possibility to control single user.

So please, can anybody give me a hint how I can manage this with a sql querie and not user by user...
