You know when your in admin panel and upload an image, that popup tells you your uploading? Is there a way to have the same thing for members when they click the upload image button?

would be great! 8O

I dont know about u, but for myself I had several times problem with that popup, that doesnt close automaticaly, and sometimes the action I was doin didnt compleate either...that made me rid of the popup at all.

yeah, I have had problems with it, or with the upload in the admin panel. I didn't think it was that popup though. I usually just ftp upload directly to the data directory.

Yeah, actually I'd like to see this too.  I saw one the other day that actually counted off as it was being uploaded (sorry, I dont remember where it was), but it was very usefull.  I'd love to see this as I myself often get impatient and if not for my external modem, I wouldnt know if it was doing anything at all towards uploading my photo.  Having a popup like in gallery could be usefull.

In fact for the amount of time that I used gallery to upload, their popup worked flawlessly.  Maybe someone could go through their scripts to get an idea or two how to do it here reliably.
