images showing problem
« on: April 09, 2003, 07:31:53 AM »
not sure whats going on, but on the home page, about 1 out of every 5 times I go there all the images are nothing but red X's and are not showing??

Does this sound like a script problem or server?

I have noticed it a couple times on some of your guys sites also.

it could be your browser problem.
I had/have same problem especialy with "blank" images, and that started after I patch windows for faster web pages loading. By default IE loads only 3-4 images at the same time, but that patch makes use maximum badwith with unlimited images load simulately.

Alright, I tested it on another computer and am having the same problem..... The other computer doesn't have any speed hacks, any idea of what could do this? Maybe combinding different script types could cause this?

V@no wanna check and tell me if you have a problem viewing (if you read this)

thx

I'm not expert of what so ever, but it might be your host servers problem, if it has lots of symulately requests and it cant handle them all at ones?
that actualy what I thought after I patch my windows. when I visit my site, my servers CPU loads up to 90% while trying read so many "little" files from the hard drive...
Sorry, I dont have an answer for this.
