G'day all,

Having a problem with my gallery and its vBulletin integration.  My site's admins can view the gallery, its categories and images fine, however users cannot.

Everything is set-up and configured correctly, as there are no discernable problems for me as an admin whilst viewing it, however despite having USER defined as 2 in constants.php and view categories/images set to 2 in the database all users see are 0 categories 0 images.

Please help!

Is it possible to have "Users browsing" on the front page of the gallery, like we do here, as well as "Users browsing this category" and "Users viewing this image"?

Discussion & Troubleshooting / httpd process hogging CPU; need help!

G'day all,

I'm needing help with tracking down an httpd process that is regularly chewing up over 90% of the CPU of the server my vBulletin forums reside on. I'm no UNIX/SQL/PHP expert, so whilst I can see and kill the troublesome process, I've no idea how to track down what is causing it!

I'm running vBulletin v2.2.8 with vbPortal v3.0 Upgrade pr8.1 for vBulletin 2.2.4 and 4images v1.7 with vBulletin v2.x Integration, and can provide a full list of the hacks I've installed so as to help track down the problem.

I'm really needing help with this. My site was down for all but 30 minutes today, and it's killing us! :cry:

Please help!!!

I'm currently experiencing a *HUGE* problem with the vBulletin integration of my 4images gallery.  Currently my site is reporting that there are 424 guests online.  That's not correct, however, as the vast majority of those guests are actually the one user with the same IP address and session ID viewing the details of images in my gallery!  8O

This has already caused my site to crash several times today.  It's been offline for over 8 hours thanks to an "out of memory" error caused by this problem!  :(

What can I do to fix this?  I really need a solution, and fast so that I can get my site stable again!

G'day all,

Just wondering if there's a way that you can track who downloaded a particular image in a gallery that has been integrated with a vBulletin message forum?

There's been hacks to track who downloaded attachments on vBulletin, so I'm assuming it wouldn't be so difficult to do the same for 4images, but I've no idea how!

Hi all,

Just wondering if there's an easier/quicker way to add new and sort existing categories.

For someone on a dial-up connection like me, when there's a lot of categories it's painfully slow to add a new one or change the sort order of an existing one.

What would be easier is if there was a way to add multiple categories at once.

Also, a way to give a category an index number, and have 4images list the categories in numerical order.  Or, have it list categories alphabetically by default (as it does the images).  This would save the hassle of having to click the move arrows and wait ages for the list of categories to reload, only to have to click the move arrows several more times to get a category in its correct alphabetical order!

Is that possible to do?

Just wondering if it's possible to have 4images bring up every file in a directory and then allow me to enter name, keywords etc for each file?

As I've already got hundreds of images on my site, linked to in numerous articles, it would help greatly if I could get 4images to do something like the above, rather than me having to add each image individually.

Just updated to v1.6, but now on my 4images Admin Control Panel home page, in the last column of the Users row in the Stats table I'm getting:

Is there any way to have sub-categories automatically sort a certain way?

For example, I'd like my sub-categories sorted alphabetically, rather than numerically.

Installation, Update & Configuration / Install help needed! URGENT!

Hi there,

Having problems with the Install script for this, as I'm not quite sure what information I need to put for the Database server hostname.  Is this meant to be a URL, or something else?

I've tried putting in my site's URL, and my site's IP address, but neither have worked so far.

If anyone can help this PHP newbie ASAP, it would be appreciated as I really want to check this program out!
