many thanx for your express answer!

unfortunately, i´m not able to do this by myself, because i´m only a photographer...
but i will find someone to check this for me.

...do you believe that all of them didn't work?

why should i assume this??
maybe there is a misunderstanding. i was not really sure whether it should work (-> only using an image to annotate) without gd or not.
the good news: it should work
the bad news: it doesn´t work  (on my linux system with two versions of IM in the repertory: 4.2.9 and 5.4.7)

if mod is running fine, nobody cares writing positive reply

any such replys are very welcome

@ Neonuss: have you solved your problem in the meantime?

hi all,
Quote from: NeoNuss
I use ImageMagick and the skript works fine, the batchprocess runs and there are no error messages. I include a small logo as .png-file in the lower right corner of the image - but nothing happens! there is no logo! ...

the same with me...
all i want is to annotate with an image.
there is no gd2, but i understood this mod to be working only with imagemagick in this case (using linux-server)...?

hallo v@no,
this very little modification makes really a big effect!
thank you :!:

6
hi v@no,
how about your idea?

7
hello v@no,
in principle you`re right, you have to balance the advantages about the disadvantages. but it´s definitely better than always refreshing...
actually uncheck the image staying on the same categories or details page does not refresh the page!
i can live very good with this compromise and can recommend it.

...muß ich dann für diese skript 99€ zahlen?

wo ist das problem??

hi all,

this mod is really great, because it´s a madness to refresh the whole page reloading e.g. 40-60 images like some of my clients do!
but now, they are surprised at not seeing the thumbnail disappearing from the lightbox by deactivating the check mark...

well, if you change only step 1.2. you will have the advantages of both "worlds".
for me it´s perfect now!

sometimes less is more...

also, deine idee:

the quotation mod seems to be closed and tucked away... (all links are dead), but that´s another story.
my (and others) archive will be integrated in an agency site. this means all things like newsletters etc. is to be arranged from there.

13
well, your notion
Quote
...if the user could access their download log from their control panel...
would be a very good extension of such a mod!
you hit the crucial point of my idea (ooh, it´s not my idea, really not... )

but that:
Quote
this type of mod could probably be handled better by a commercial shopping cart...

is absolutely not necessary. far from it!
the usual way in selling pictures is to evaluate a price concerning the purpose of use of the downloaded image. there are many many factors who affect the value.
so you have to wait for a message like: "i have printed the picture in this ... magazin and that ... size with that ... print run" and so on...
but it´s going too far to explain the whole thing.

all you need is something as a logfile to document the download sessions (with filenames etc.).
i think the easiest way would be to analyze a "normal" serverlogfile and extract the special things to import in a field in 4image database??

so, what means this for the desired mod?
this is much simpler to code it, isn´t it?

...but not for me, i´m only a photographer and not a software engineer...

hi all,
i know, there is a mod from Chris called:
Keep Track Of What Each User Has Downloaded (http://www.4homepages.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4606).

he has the following clarified:
Quote
Summary Description NOTE: This is NOT a download stats or counter mod

is someone able to create a mod doing exactly this?

it would be very helpful to know in addition:
- the exact date and time of download
- the name of the downloaded file

in my case it would be a hires-picture, because i want to set up a commercial archive.
finally i could attach a special logfile or a list with download timestamps to my invoice.

it is the general practice in this business.

many thanx in advance

p.s.: or does this mod already exist and i was not able to find it... :?:

15
hi,
i see, the link is down, or rather redirected to the main page...
any reasons for that?
