How do I do this?

Thanks!

For administrators who are interested in using a couple templates for their gallery, I thought it would be a nice option to have users choose a template they like to view the gallery, from their 'control panel'.

It would be nice to have a feature for members to be notified whenever new images are uploaded to the gallery.  Perhaps as an option.  Anything like that available now?

Discussion & Troubleshooting / E-Card: "Modify E-card" Problem
« on: January 26, 2003, 02:08:27 AM »
Hi, in only one of my 4homepages galleries, I'm having a problem with the "Modify E-card" button.  When clicking on it, it takes me back to the selected image's page, and I'd have to re-do the e-card.  Again, this is the only gallery I'm having this problem with.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Thanks!

Discussion & Troubleshooting / E-Card Suggestion : Text Format
« on: January 24, 2003, 12:51:31 AM »
Hi, I was wondering if there was a way for the E-card text to show BELOW the e-card image instead of to the right? I just think it would make the e-card look nicer and be a bit easier to read without having to scroll down a really narrow-looking formatted text... especially if your gallery uses larger images.

Also, is there a possibility that the text could automatically format when there is a carriage return? As of now, if I separated a single or double carriage space between paragraphs in the text box, it will not apply to the final card. The text come out as a whole paragraph.

Lastly, a suggestion for the future...it would be nice if users could select fonts and such when writing e-cards from the gallery. Just a thought!

Thanks for your time and consideration!

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Please help! Images Not showing?!?
« on: November 26, 2002, 08:34:06 AM »
:?:  I installed a gallery n my subdomain a several weeks ago.  View Page here.  Up until last week or so, none of the images, including the template images would not show up.  I thought it might be a database problem on my host since they were getting ready to move me to a new and better server.  That was completed just this morning.

I reinstalled the gallery to my subdomain earlier today.  I'm still having the same problem.  All images including the gallery icons show up as red "x"s.  I'm not sure what the problem is.  I've tested the gallery with a few other templates I installed with the same problem.

Is there a bug in the script somewhere I don't know about?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Gracias!

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Gallery Bandwidth usage
« on: October 03, 2002, 09:27:15 AM »
Is it just me, or does the gallery use up a lot of bandwith, even if just accessing your control panels, etc?  I don't have much in my gallery yet, just a couple pics uploaded, I just moved to a new host, and already, I've managed to use up a lot of bandwidth.  I check my webalizer stats, and it's not my visitors, who are rare at the moment, that are using up my b/w.  It seems that the gallery is.  Anyone else notice this?

« on: October 01, 2002, 06:33:14 PM »
Hi, I've set up my sql database correctly, and CHMOD in FTP...

When trying to access \install.php, I get the following error:

***********
Warning: Access denied for user: 'fanncy_gallery@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/ifanncy/public_html/gallery/includes/db_mysql.php on line 39

Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Access denied for user: 'fanncy_gallery@localhost' (Using password: YES) in /home/ifanncy/public_html/gallery/includes/db_mysql.php on line 39

DB Error: Could not connect to the database server (localhost, fanncy_gallery).
***********

What am I doing wrong?  What do I need to do to correct this?

Thank you!

Installation, Update & Configuration / Help! I'm moving to a new webhost!
« on: September 30, 2002, 06:37:58 PM »
Hello!

I am going to be moving my domain to a new webhost soon.  How will I reinstall my gallery to keep all of the same settings?  Will I just have to save my files and upload all of them to the new webhost?  Or, what are my other options if available?

Thank you,
Fanncy Pants
