login redirection
« on: November 06, 2007, 07:36:52 AM »
hi,

i saw a code ( not sure if its mod ) about login redirection for CAT that only can view it by registered users but after searching i didnt find it :(

to insure what im lookin for, this is an example:

i sent an email for all users in my site and the email contain url for a video. In fact, the video gallary is only for registered users
(only registered users can see the videos ) and this is what happen:

1- if the user check on save my username and password ( using cookies ) then he can see the video
2- if the user click on the link and he/she didn't save his/her username and password then the link will redirect the user to the home pagr ( home/html )

what i want is:

1- if the user didnt login a box appear to him/her to put the username and password if its correct it will redirect the user to the video that in the link

i hope that post was about what im lookin for !!

greats,

MrLovaLove

Yes, is possible with some tweak.
8 steps need when ask question -

- PHP version (ACP - > phpinfo())
- mySQL version (ACP - > phpinfo())
- 4images version
- Post screenshot / URL
- Post code in BB Code (no need full file for code) or post attach file
- It doesn't work. What is say - what is do for no work
- Install MOD ? If so - please say (troubleshooting)
- Read FAQ ? Install Bug fixes ?
