Dreambard works well.
But it does not show the avatar from the first topic. When somebody answer then the avatar is shown.
Dont forget: I installed the avatar mod from vano - not the members personal photo.

In the showthread.php file this line could contain the problem:
$showtopic .="<td ><b>$thrstarter</b><br>$rank_user_info<br>$user_avatar<br>$author_info <br>$topicip</td>\n";
I deleted $user_avatar because it does not work, it shows only a broken avatar.
