Thats the way cache works.. you need to delete the old cache files or need to wait for the cache file to be expired, after that the new images will be shown..

Wen you enable cache, the pages will not refreshed each time when you uploads a new image. You can test whether cache is working for you or not by  enabling the cache print messages.

Change the below line in include/constants.php

Code: [Select]

define('PRINT_CACHE_MESSAGES', 0);

to

Code: [Select]

define('PRINT_CACHE_MESSAGES', 1);


but make sure you turn it off also after your testing  


Also, you need to clear all the caches periodically by using cache plugin in your ACP.

HI,

    1. Usually thumbnails are auto created while user upload a new image..

      2. If the 1 option is not working for you, then you need to create the thumbnails by using auto thumbnailer option from ACP..

                             I was checking my server log.. and found that you are referring one image from my website in your stylesheet.css also you have copied some of the code from my stylesheet also.

 Also, I noticed there is no link back to 4homepages.de website and you removed the copyright notice from the footer..



Please remove the link reference to my website and put a copyright notice back in your website.. It will help everyone

I am getting more than that.. but so far no complain from my hosting company.. 

You can get my hosting information in my website.. I believe I have mentioned my hosting company name somewhere in my website    .

Hi,
    I have been using this MOD for a long time.. I don't know how I made it at that time.. My urls are like this.. www.domainname.com/k-category-name-123.htm and detail page urls are like this .. www.domain.com/r-image-name-1234.htm. Its working fine... but now I have noticed that .. Google is trying to find my both the urls and marked them as duplicate content..


Could anyone please let me know how to stop detail.php?image_id=xxxx format urls ?? or is it possible to redirect all the detail.php to r-image-name-123.htm page with 301 code by updating the .htaccessf file ??

A small help will also be appreciated. ..

and then later on comes back and the links are different you might get not found errors which affect your search order standing... isnt that right?

Well .. this is not correct.. because the link to the image detail page  is not invalid.. its only changed..

We can not simply add nofollow in the thumbnail_bit because it will affect the complete gallery not only index page..

                It should be transparent, if you are using a transparent  png file. I think you are doing some mistake in creating a transparent image. ( I have not much idea also in creating these images ) ..


Try once again with another transparent png file..
