    If you are using C-panel then, there is one option for hotlink protection.. you can use it to stop direct access to the images.

Hi,
     I want to modify the existing search.php or create a new search.php to put in my homepage. Currently my homepage lists all the categories, but I want to change it. Now    want to provide a search function, so that user can search their favorite celebrities only by typing the names.

In other words, Can we change the search.php to search only category names ?? No other variables required as a input to the search_new.php script..

Well.. may be you can just do the categories like below..

Regattas -> Head of the Charles (HOCR) -> HOCR2009 -> Locations  -> photos..

Here each photo will be identified by their owner ( added by ) name.. so, you can stop creating multiple categories..

well... my gallery has more than 20k images.. but I don't feel any kind of issues..

You need to take care of couple of things for this..

1. enable the 4image cache system.
2. disable the random category image ( if you have enabled it)
3. Disable the random image...
.
.
.
etc...

Thanks V@no.. but I am not sure how to put this code and where.. because if you will look into my website.. I just modified my jpg.html template like below..

Only added the path of the original image.. So, when user will click on the image, the original image will be opened..

Do you have any idea how to put your small sql update query here ??

HI All -
           I have done some changes in my website, so that the actual image will be opened in a new window from detail page, when a user will click on the image. but Now I want to count this "open of original image" as one downloaded .. so want to add 1 to the download count..

Is it possible to add this to the download count.. ??


Any idea how can I do this ??

    Here is oneway...

Open includes/constants.php .. and find

define('SHOW_RANDOM_CAT_IMAGE', 0);

change it to

Code: [Select]

define('SHOW_RANDOM_CAT_IMAGE', 1);

but it will affect the performance if you have lots of images..

Hi jacktheblack,
                       I am not sure how to move 4image database to new WP site, but if you want to change the no. of images in your RSS then you need to update your rss.php file.

Find :

@define('RSS_DEFAULT_ITEMS', 10);
@define('RSS_MAX_ITEMS', 30);

and change the numbers to your new numbers..
