Can't login, where should I go then~~~

<i> Can't login at index.php with admin account, but can login to Admin CP at admin/index.php.
<ii> Registering a new user, fill up the form field and send, runs pretty slow, almost no response at all, and also can't login with the new registered username, keep recieving this:

You have specified an invalid username or password.

but at Admin CP-->Send email, can see the new register user there, weird~~~

where goes wrong?

PS: I use English lang pack, and everything goes perfect except these two.

Is the user account activated? What did you choosed for "Account activation" in your settings? If you have selected "Email" the user have to activate his account first.

thanks jan, the first question is solved, I suggest you put this part just following the SMTP setting, in your next version. I searched it for several times and all missed.

But the second problem is still there, it's very very slow after clicking the submit button, the page seems almost freezed...
Anything I should change in any .php file? Or setting of my php.ini?

Did you use SMTP? Maybe the script connot connect to your SMTP server and gets and time out. Try with "Admin CP-->Send email" if the email function works correctly.

sorry, forgot to tell you, I just test the program on localhost for now, and I choose "none" for user account activation, it's none of SMTP's business I think...
