You can check the Admin-User name in the MySQL-Database... (phpmyadmin)
Not so with the password.

Open the yourprefix_users table and look for the user with user_id 1
If you did not change the rights of your admin-account, than this might be the Admin-Account = check if user_level 9, if yes - it is an admin account.

Well, now you have the user name of the admin and you know, that this account really has admin-rights. Right?

As I wrote above - there's no way to find out, what the user-password was (unless you have a lot of time for trying out possible ones or cracking the cypher-code)

But you might change the password...

Change the value of user_password into 098f6bcd4621d373cade4e832627b4f6
Which changes the password of the admin-user to test.
Now you may login and change the password to a better one than just "test" (I recomend that, otherwise some s****d as***e could go to your gallery and do things you would not appreciate)

Should work...

Don't ask me, how to figure out the MySQL-Database Password - that's your turn, if you've lost it  :D and don't ask me, how to change the values in the db - that's also your turn to figure out.

BTW: hope I did not publish a "how to hack 4images in 5 minutes" tutorial with this answer or something like that

Delete/Edit this post if you guess it could cause any harm...

actualy we used to have simulart topic in FAQ regarding how to "resotore" administrator's account.

P.S. in case u didnt know, in phpmyadmin has a feature to select how u want to save data of a specific field, for the password u can select "MD5" and will encode your new typed password with into MD5 hash which will be recognized by 4images ;)
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)

1. hoc can i change the look of the galerie ??

By modifying template (please search the forum and refer FAQ)

2.when you open the page you can see the pics in a littel ..normal..i hope you understand waht i mean

the "white eye" is an media icon, it displays when no thumbnails avalable for that image/media, u'll need set auto thumbnailer in the settings so it would create thumbnails when someone upload an image, again ,we've discussed this too many times here, please search and read FAQ.

3.what is thumpnails ?????????
thumbnails is a little image that works as a preview of your big image or media file.
