Template Help.
« on: March 26, 2003, 12:01:04 PM »
I have a site.
http://www.mobelee.co.uk/animations_enter.htm
as you can see I have an ok layout, what I want to do is add this style to the template.

I tried coping and paisting all the stuff, last night, into the main body of the site, and it looked ok, but bland, so I got a mate to doctor it and he created me a nice looking style, see this address:
http://www.mobelee.co.uk/mobelee/anim.htm

(ps links dont work on this one.)  he basically went to the temp site I am working on, and downloaded the page, and used that to make the template. This method created what I wanted, but as you know they actual content and links will not work. (I removed the random links as I could not get the random links to show only images from non member area)

So.. the question is, Looking at the idea above, what is the easiest way to create this style as a template. thanks, a mate of mine created this look. The above does not work correctly as he has used the htm coding etc.

The template is different from regular .html pages because of {....} tags, that will be changed after page has been requested to view.
so, the best way is just look in the original templates, and try out the {...} tags they has, and just insert the needed ones into to your "new" template.
Thats the only way I'd say "the easiest"...;)
Your first three "must do" before you ask a question:
Please do not PM me asking for help unless you've been specifically asked to do so. Such PMs will be deleted without answer. (forum rule #6)
