Border for new header
« on: April 05, 2005, 08:34:29 PM »
Hey everyone, i edited the default template so that i can add my own image on the header. I just got this small problem, the border for the top image seems to be messed up. I tried adjusting the sizes for the border images but still the same problem. Does anyone knows why and how to fix this problem? Here is the URL = http://www.ktmrailwayfan.com/pics/categories.php?cat_id=1 . Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean with "messed up"?
You've changed the top image - that's OK, but you did not change the border pictures...
./templates/default/images/header_top.gif
./templates/default/images/header_right.gif
./templates/default/images/header_left.gif

You have two options:
1) to edit these images
2) to delete change the template so that it won't need these images and shows up only the header_logo...

Thanks alot of replying. I have edited the border images width and height but still the same problem. If you check the main page http://www.ktmrailwayfan.com/pics/ , i dont have this problem, weird.

One more thing i noticed was that it looks ok in FireFox but looks messed up in IE.

the border looks fine for me too :| with Firefox... I even tried to open it with IE6 and I have no idea what's wrong for you?

Try to clear the browser's cache and maybe it will look fine ;)

well - it doesn't look like this with my browser(s). It really looks fine.

Did you try to clear the browser-cache and reload the page again (e.g. CTRL+SHIFT+R - Firefox;  CTRL+F5 on IE)?

Hmm, that's weird, now it seems ok in my browser but it happened again when i kept reloading categories.php(since that is the only one having this problem).
