your question has nothing to do with 4images itself, so you best bet would be ask this quetions at the software support center you are trying to install to.

1) make sure it everythig works on fresh, not modifyed 4images
2) should reply to the avatar mod topic
3) images uploaded by administrator dont need to be validated, and it controlled by "Direct upload" in the category permissions settings.
4) this is also controlled by permission settigs for each category individualy

The only thing you have to do, is to download the config.php from your server, and open it with Wordpad. There you can find your Nickname, Servername and your Passwort.

that has nothing to do with admin username and password!

when u browse your site while being logged in as admin, do u see sessionid=j3h4k23h4l2 in the address bar and all links on the page?
if so, then u must also include that sessionid to the url for dl_limit_install.php
like this: http://example.com/4images/dl_limit_install.php?sessionid=3k4jh23k4h32k4h2

well, if they shut down your gallery, they must have some prove that it came from 4images itself, if not, I see no problem then...
you should ask them for a prove (the spam script in gallery folder is not a prove!)
