Dropdown-List with Count of images [categeories]

Hi there,

I've searched many times, but couldn't get a similar result to my question,

how to show the number of pictures in the dropdown-list?
It's like in the categories... but here in the list after the (sub-)category.

Dropdown-List
-----------------
Category (100 pics)
Subcategory 1 (50 pics)
Subcategory 2 (30 pics)
Subcategory 3 (20 pics)

Is there a way to hande this?
