IS it possible to make the gallery to upload more than one picture each time ??

Hi.

I just found out that my members of the gallery can't upload pictures,
but as adminstrator it is possible.

When users try, they'll get theese errors on the top of the page....

Can anyone help ?

Hi
My gallery is now hosted at a danish host called Skandihost. The reason is that they were the only company I could find who had safe_mode = off.

And unfortunately most hosts has safe_mode = on and this means no auto thumbnails.
Is there any new soloutions to this problem, so I can get a new host ??

Hi folks

My gallery started writing this messege a few days agos, when people uploaded stuff

"Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/4default_wide/media/pps.html"

But now I can not even load the gallery, this messege just appears.
I'd tried downloading a new install of the gallery
but I cant find the file "pps.html" in templates/defaulft_wide/media/

Can anyone please help me, coz my gallery is totally down

How many files will I need to upload to update my now working 1.7.3 version to 1.7.4 version.
Im using defalt_wide template.

Hi

I've experienced 2 different times that the total ammount of pictures and a directory are deleted.

I hope its a problem you heard of, coz I find it very weird.

Both times it was the latest add directory, and both times it was totally gone.. both pictures and directory.

I have to say, that I only experienced this after updating to 1.7.3 a mounth ago.

Please let me know if its a known failure, Ive tried searching,but with no luck..

Hi.

I know I should had looked in the forum first, and I have'd done it.

But I cant find an excact guide how to update my gallery.

in docs/update.english

it says:

   Update 1.7.2 -> 1.7.3
       ...............................
       - No update-script required

I dont understand this, can someone please tell me what to do from the start.
I have'nt updated anything since the install over a year ago.

I suddenly can't create new directories in my gallery.
This error appears when i create a new directory.

The funny thing is that the directory is being created, but no one is able to upload anything to them.

When I set a cetegorie to private it is default set to "NO" in permissions.
Can it be made so the dafault is "YES" instead ??

Hi folks.

In the gallery system from 4homepages there is a function under edit categories in ControlPanel.

Under permissions I can chose "Private" But what does this function do ??
Is it possible for me to make some categories viewable for some registred users, and not to all registred users ??

I hope you can help me, and thanks in advance.

Hi to all who can help

I've installed a gallery (4homepages) and everything works fine.
Unfortuntely I installed it on the root of the server who provides me server space.

Which means, when I tope my adress, it starts showing index.php to the gallery.
Now I came up with this idea, that I wanted to show a start page first (index.html)
and then just link to the gallery (index.php)

How can i do this ??

Unfortunately I can't change my domain pointing.

Hi.

I've just installed 4images, and it works allmost fine.

But when I wanted to add pictures I just get the messege "Error uploading image file"

But if I upload with ftp and add the URL it works. But why can't I upload them on the page?
