How I insert one image to each category in the home?

Hi people,

How can I insert one image to each category in my 4images gallery? I want to show a image just in first page (home.html)... in categories I dont want to show a image.

For example.. www.britneynow.com/fotos there're some main categories: paparazzis, revistas, jornais... so, I want to show a image for each category... but, when somebody access the category, I dont want to show a image.
