HI friends,
First of all i tried my best to find any solution in the forums that may answer my problem but unfortunately i was failed, may be i am not that smart as one should be to find.
i am trying to install the 1.7.9  in a sub directory of my site   like www.mysite.com/4images
i unzipped the package and uploaded via ftp. and when i go and type the url in browser  it gives nothing but a simple page of my site.
can any one help me to  know if there is any special method to install the 1.7.9 in a sub-folder ?

did you try install that mod at all? most mods work regardless of 4images version.

Thats mode i mentioned is located here ( and thats your mod)  http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=7700.0
and it has 30 pages.   and that is too difficult to  lineup all these and find what is right and what is wrong. on one hand one thing is applied then following post says its not successful etc.
in fact if any expert could only rip those guidelines out of that long 30 pages conversation which may help any newbie like me that will be great.

please help to get it done  any short recap of the exact and correct process of all that? or only the proper thing out of all those 30 pages?

Kindly guide me for one thing to do.
i want that if any user submit an image.  he shouldn't have to  resize his actual image manually. and when he has uploaded the image that image should be displayed on site with a fixed dimenion, which shouldnt go out of the page size (if the image submitted by the user is larger then page size.)

i found one post here but that is for 1.7.6 . please help me

Hi Friends,
i Tried to search the forum for my answer but couldn't find any thing similar. so i have to write here and hope  some one will help me out.
1) when i use the feature" Image table rows" from admin this doesn't work. means this show only one image table row on home page no matter if i set 4 on admin side, so please help me to get more image rows on home page.
2) then i want that paging should work for the images at home, means if i increase my images table rows to 4 or 8 on home page. then the other images should be browsed by the paging .
i m using 1.7.7


A quick update here.  I have fixed it my self by playing with code in index.php
