Wow. That was easier than I thought. Thanks mate!  :D

I realized that everything registered members upload has to be validated. Is there anyway I can disabled this?

I did a search for this issue and came upon this mod: http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=17155.30
But it is in Spanish and I only know English. Can someone assist me with this?

Regards,
Pete

I know what you mean. I've been to a few 4images powered sites and see that the copyright statement is removed. Sad in many ways...

@Nicky -  I hide my site when seeking help here. :o Not because I removed the copyright but because I still have a lot of contents to add to the site before I launch it. And I'm not sure when I'm going to launch it so I didn't want to post my site in public. :D

BTW, is this good ===> Powered by 4images Copyrighted © 2007-2007 {Site_Name}

I got loads of errors when I used the premodified files. But it worked when I edit everything manually!!!  :D Thanks a lot bro!

hmm...no wonder it didn't work. I thought it was just "me." :roll:
Oh well, I'll just stick with it for right now. Thank you.

PHP Version 5.2.3
MySQL 5.0.45
4images 1.7.4

Thank you for helping me. :)

8
There is no error messages whatsoever. It just won't save the settings.

9
um...it's not working for me. I've done everything step by step 2 times now. I see new options under "Upload Settings" yet when I try to select it and click "Save Changes," it won't save. I would go back to the settings and find that it is set to "no." :(
Anyone have any suggestions?

Anyone mind uploading it back up again? Link is dead. :(

OMG!!! it works!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
My site is 90% done. All I need to do is wait on this file hosting company to complete their website integration upload module. ;)

It's has been a 'fun' experience for me here. Thank you for not giving up on me thunderstrike!

{if allow_download}<a href="{url_download}">{image_name}</a>{endif allow_download}
Where should I add this in details.html?

So I need to modify members upload form too right?

Now I'm just stupidly confused. :( *bangs head on keyboard*

Let me try again...

(ADMIN PANEL) See how there is the Download URL button?

(MEMBERS PANEL) See how there is not a Download URL button?

Summary: I want the Download URL in the user upload form.

Hopefully this ends all the confusion I've cause to you... and myself.
Thank you for being so helpful and patient with me. :D

Thank you. But will the hack work with 4images 1.7.4?
And also, wouldn't I need to edit the users upload form too?

umm...in the details.html, where would I add that. I'm not a coder. :(

Let's say I uploaded a picture...after that, other users have the option to click on the download or download zip button to download the picture. But I don't want the download to be the picture, I want it to be a file already stored on a server. So what I'm asking is there anyway for me to add the download URL input so that when users click the download or download zip button, it doesn't download the picture but the file that I linked to.

You know sites like mediafire, megaupload? they allow free files upload. I have a files upload on that site and would like for the users to be able to download them by clicking the download or download zip button. Kinda like what you can do in the Admin Panel.
