Well i have 4700+ images i want to upload and i dont want to upload and snal speed..... but i also want to take advantage of  4images auto thumbnailer... is there a way to upload a whole folder at a time and thumbnails???   eg i have  12 folders with about 300 images or something in each can i use the 4images auto thumbnailer and also upload it as whole folders so i am getting many more images up ????

Please get back to me on this.

thanks... but would i hafta make thumbnails or would  i be able to use the built in thumbnailer?

After you check for new images, you can generate your thumbnails with the auto-thumbnailer.

one prob when i upload through ftp where the hell EXACTLY do i  upload because it doesnt seem to be workin .... it comes up with this

Warning: OpenDir: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /usr/local/plesk/apache/vhosts/gksalliance.com/httpdocs/4images/admin/checkimages.php on line 189

The following images (0) have not been entered to the database.

Add new category

look into 4images/data/media/
new category was been in last namber
If is your first category hi was on namber 1 ( 4images/data/media/1/ ), etc.
Newermind is top level category or subcategory,
olways hi was inc from last namber, just like record.

Upload your foto into this directory.

Goto Admin Panel and select Check new images
Select name of your category and run.

Remember your dir data & data/media must chmod 777
