Is it safe to rename the 4Images directory?
« on: October 25, 2002, 10:37:00 AM »
Hi everyone,

I uploaded the 4Images directory as instructed. I wonder if it OK to rename /4Images/ to /photoalbum/ without messing up the code?

Or should I rename the folder BEFORE uploading it to the server?

What is the best method?

Thanks,

kitty

u can do it any time, since 4images script refer to PHP_SELF.

EDIT: I've started a new thread with this issue. See here:

Hmmm... I renamed the 4images directory. Now I can't login to my account.

Did this happen because I renamed the 4images directory?

Thanks,

Kitty

it might be just your cookies (4images likes fresh cookies   )
before I install some mod or change something in the code I just copy whole 4images folder and rename it, it works just fine, no problem.

That's what I wanted to know too. Was 90% sure it was safe to do, now I can install my gallery.
