That was EXACTLY what I needed.  You've saved me a half day's work and a day or 2 of headaches.  Thank you very much.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / admin rights problem
« on: November 02, 2006, 02:55:24 PM »
We've been dealing with a major hack in our hosting server over the past couple of weeks.  We traced it back to an point release of 4images that dates back a couple of patches ago.  We installed some backups and upgraded the install.  Everything seems fine, but I did find that we had an extra admin that had been added.  I deleted him and in the frustration and fast pacing of trying to get everything done so that the client may not notice I accidentally switched the rights of my admin account from admin to "registered user that needs activation".  Yeah, I know...I'm stupid, but I was here late restoring sites and up early to get here before the clients started calling.  Anyway, I was wondering if there was any way possible to get my admin rights back.  Maybe by switching something in the db?  I don't know...I just know that I REALLY don't need to take the site down for 4 or 5 hours again while I restore a backup from cPanel, then manually upload specific updates that have occurred since the last clean backup (a month ago).  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you.

Discussion & Troubleshooting / I hate microsoft...can anyone help?
« on: January 24, 2003, 06:20:45 PM »
I've used 4images before and fell in love with it...As far as functionality it is THE only way to go...so here's my problem.

I've recommended it for a site that the I'm working on...they seem to like the idea, but want to see it working on their server before jumping in.  I realized today as I was trying an install that it's a windows 2000 server...(no chmod) and I'm thrown off.  Now I'm just messed up all together (more mentally than anything) because I spent half the day trying to figure out why I couldn't get things to work.

As of now I've got 4images installed and that's about it.  I get this error when I try to upload a pic.

Warning: move_uploaded_file(./../data/media/1/portis13.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in E:\tours\4images\includes\upload.php on line 114

No database entry!

maybe we can start here, if anyone can help, and then continue to walk my foolish self through the other problems that I'm sure to cause.

thank you.
