image magick errors

it says the path is correct - but then still gives me errors making tn's. I checked my permissions for the folders and they're 777


What's wrong??

yeah, I'm having the exact same problem, I found the correct path, but still saying "error creating thumbnail!" everytime

i just noticed that mine will make thumbnails but only if the pictures are gif's. so only 1 out my 63 images made a thumbnail. am i doing something wrong?

that's doesnt sounds right...
I'd think, that the ImageMagic is "broken"... (to all who get error messages)

I did the ssh thing and found two different options, tried them both and am having the same problem.

So what was wrong with your setttings that you figured out by doing the ssh?

My host FINALLY e-mailed me back with some long crazy directory for image magick -

Surprisingly - it was looking like it was working even when I had the total wrong directory selected. Once I had the TRUE path - all works PERFECTLY!

Yay!!

One note - if you have ' marks in the names of your files - you'll still get the errors.
