I've searched the board, looked at the faq, etc. under 'private' and 'private setting' but been unable to find the answer to this.
Can someone please explain the 'private' setting to me?
Just to explain what I'm trying to do:
I want to be able to give each registered user their own page which they can upload/edit, etc. pics.
I don't want them to be able to do that to another user's page though, only view it. I'd like them to be able to comment on someone's page, but not upload to it.
I thought adjusting the upload/download to private in the category setting would do that, but it didn't seem to.
I'm not technical at all, so please explain this as simply as possible to me, or point me in the right direction for an explanation of the 'private' setting if I missed it somewhere. I apologise if I've overlooked some documentation on this.
