Sometime things make me wonder...

I just clicked on the link that manurom posted, with "favorites.php" at the end. And after I changed back to the original code of top.php and renamed it to favorites.php there are suddenly entries in my table...
It begins to work...  :)

Now I only have to find out, why the thumb in front of a line is not displayed.

I think I have problems to understand what you want to say...

Do you mean, I should again copy the code from the beginning of this thread to my top.php, rename it to "favorites.php" and change the line you posted at last and this is the solution of my problem?

Could you explain in a few more words, please? I really don't know what to do now, maybe a language-problem...

I don't use a multilanguage-mod...  :?
This line seems to come from the code I copied from above.

Now I used the original code of top.php and changed the name to "favorites.php". But nothing happens. What do I have do do to get the statistics of the votes from top-list to a new file? Can you help?

I had the same idea and I did everything exactly as it was explained in this thread. My new files are called "favorites.php" and "favorites.html.
But I don't get any output on my page as you can see here in action:  :wink:  http://www.bildmomente.de/gallery/index.php?template=favorites

Any ideas about what to do next?

In german:
ich hatte die gleiche Idee wie hier beschrieben und möchte die Statistiken zu den gevoteten Bildern auf eine externe Seite bringen. Ich habe
dazu die top.php und die top.html kopiert, die hier im Thread genannten Änderungen durchgeführt und habe die Dateien in "favorites.php" und "favorites.html" umbenannt. Ich bekomme aber kein Output in meine Tabelle.



Hat jemand Ideen für mich? Was ist noch zu tun?

Ganz herzlichen Dank! Mit Eurer Hilfe hat es jetzt geklappt. Zwar nicht als Zellenhintergrund wie bei den Thumbs auf der Startseite, aber mit dieser Lösung kann ich leben.  Ich freu mich. Danke  :D

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe die Topliste mit Thumbnails anhand der Anleitungen hier eingebaut. Was mir nicht gefällt, ist die Verzerrung der Bilder, wenn sie z. B. im Querformat aufgenommen wurden.

Kann mir jemand erklären, wie ich es schaffe, die Bilder als zentrierten Zellenhintergrund einzubauen, so dass automatisch ein Anschnitt davon gezeigt wird? So habe ich es auch auf der Startseite bei den neuen Bildern dank einer Anleitung im Forum gemacht. Aber wie läßt sich das für die Topliste realisieren, damit die Verzerrung verschwindet? Hat jemand einen Rat oder einen Forenlink für mich? Ich habe dazu leider nichts gefunden.

Hi @all,

I've managed to install this mod. Everything works fine, but there is one point left that I just can't solve after some days of trial and error and now I'm at the end of my knowledge. I hope someone of you could take some minutes to help me out  :(

The problem is that the table in which the category-thumbs are visible is not centered. The category-images are positioned to the left side.

How can I manage to center the table?

Seems to be pretty easy, but I just can't find the solution where to change the table that includes the category-thumbnails.

I think I really need your help. The Link to the database update script described unter Step 5 doesn't work. Could you share yours, please? I have made all the changes and now I can't continue. I'm not experienced enough to uptdate the database manually  :(

I was just wondering if it would be possible to create the following:

a new user should rate and comment 10 photos first before he ist able to upload own pictures. Expectation on this is to keep out users who only want to show and are not interested in community. I want them to think about it before they sign in and would like to explain it before registration.

Does anyone have an idea how to manage this?

Das Problem hatte ich anfangs auch. Schau nach, ob es in Deinem Verzeichnis "4images/templates/default/" einen Ordner mit dem Namen

{template_url}

gibt. Wenn nicht, lege ihn an. Er muß genauso heißen, wie hier angegeben, also auch mit den Klammern.

Und in dem Ordner {template_url} muß dann noch ein weiterer Ordner angelegt werden mit dem Namen "images".

Dort schiebst Du das spacer.gif rein. Dann sollte es gehen.

Bei mir waren beide nicht vorhanden. Deshalb hatte ich das Problem. Mag ja sein, daß es bei Dir auch so ist.

Wenn es läuft, kann es sein, daß Du feststellst, daß unten am Bildrand ein übler weißer Rand zu sehen ist. Dann muß das spacer.gif auf die Mitte ausgerichtet werden.

Am besten, Du nimmst gleich diesen Code:
