I dont know what I did but now when someone goes to my gallery it reads this

DB Error: Could not select database (mshunny_imga1).

Can someone tell me know to fix this????????????????????????

check your mysql tables to see if the table : mshunny_imga1 is there

This is a mySQL Database selection error. In your config.php file, assure that all your quoted lines are field out - such as :

Code: [Select]


$db_servertype = "mysql";
$db_host = "yourserver";
$db_name = "yourdatabasename";
$db_user = "yourusername";
$db_password = "yourpassword";


In fact, I think these are even covered in the FAQ.

It's not working I don't know what else to do. My host is not going to be in until tomorrow and I have visitors asking about the gallery. Should I re-install it?

If you did re-configured it properly and the database error message still persists, it is unlikely that re-installing 4images will resolve the issue.

To resolve this problem, you must contact your hosting party when he gets back. Until then, there's nothing you can do, unless you have administrative controls over the server.
