Show image at smaller size but keep original image

Hi,

Is there a way to keep the original sized image but a smaller version is showing when looking at it?
For example; If I upload a picure that's 3000x3000 px, which is way too big to show, is there a way to show it in 1000x1000 pixels but if you click on the image the full sized image shows?

*edit*: or the smaller version is showing but you can download the full image

It would be really good if this is possible/exists.


I have 4images 1.7.13

edit: Not what I want :P. Is there a way to keep the full image when uploading but show a smaller version of it?
