Resize thumbnails in GD

What do I need to do to resize thumbnails when I'm using GD?

admin -> Auto-Image-Resizer -> Resize thumbnail files

that is

When you upload a image in the acp you must use the auto thumbnailer...

When you have Problems with the Thumbs when you upload a image in the Frontend, you must set the setting "Auto-create thumbnail" on yes...

hmm.. question was HOW to RESIZE THUMBNAILS and not HOW to CREATE them.

But where do I find admin? :/
I don't actually have a program called GD.
I just know I'm using it because when I click on settings it says: Conversion tool for thumbnails : GD library.
Is there something I have to download?
