Need rss.gif captcha not working

I just updated from 1.72 to 1.74 I read that I needed to copy over the files from default for rss. So I did except I do not have an rss.gif in the images folder or anywhere else.
Where can I get this file?

Right now when trying to upload my users get the error to enter verification number but they cannot see one or where to enter it.

Please help this is very urgent.

Yes, I did that. It told me to copy the  new template files (exif_bit.html, rss.xml, rss_item.xml, images/rss.gif). Then add them to my template from the default template.

Do I need to do all the other stuff on the links too?
