after install config file is empty is it normal
« on: March 18, 2003, 12:42:28 PM »
after install I got the following message:

Install success!

The install script is unable to write the config file "config.php" to the server. Click the button below to download a copy of the configuration file and upload this file via FTP to the 4images directory. Once this is done you should log in using the admin username and password and visit the Control Panel to check the general configuration for any required changes." />

I downloaded the file and viewd it, and I found it only contain :

I was looking around in the 4images folder and I found a file config.new.php with the following txt
$db_servertype = "mysql";
$db_host = "";
$db_name = "";
$db_user = "";
$db_password = "";

$table_prefix = "4images_";

define('4IMAGES_ACTIVE', 1);

?>

I edited my config.php accordinaly and wala now it is working thank every one. sorry I should have done more resarch before I posted my q..
