A while back I wrote this. I never got an answer. Does the developer want to comment on this?

>I think it is revealing that through this whole web site, security issues are not discussed at all.
>I would like to hear the developer's thoughts (in detail) regarding the security of putting this script on a server.

Hi,

just a few words: every variable in 4images is carefully checked and for correct types and GET/POST method. The code is made such that any user can't alter a DB query or anything like that. For "paranoid";) users there will be an option in 1.5 final to change the default chmod for all files and folder created by 4images.
If you find a security hole, report it and it will be fixed immediately.
