I need to bring up again my problem described above:

Anybody any idea why my html code inside of the description-fields gets slashed when I use this MODs batch function?

And what about the original images.php file? does it work properly?
Or better yet, what if you edit one image (find an image, and click edit link)?

... Yes, if I edit only a single image it works properly: with your images.php and the original one.

I have a big problem with my description fields when I have HTML code inside of it:

I choose ´Quick edit --> Descriptions --> Yes´. My images with descriptions containing HTML code get listed.
And now when I press the save-button all my html code gets slashed even w/o having personally modified that field.

Example:
What before was color="#FF0000" is now color=\"#FF0000\"
Another strange thing is that those slashes are not visible while I get the discription displayed.

Clear that links and layout are broken now.
This does not happen when I choose to edit the description w/o using the MOD features and only like this I can put back the correct code - one by one.

I have read somewhere else that this might come from an incorrect or missing ´stripslashes()´ function.
Please help. Without this MOD life gets hard ..

Versuchs mal hier.
http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6918.0

Da gibt es noch einen anderen hilfreichen Hack den ich jetzt nicht finde .. ich suche später nochmals.

Means, that I have to permanently remove the {remote_media_file} input option, otherwise I nevertheless need to go on a regular basis through all the new posted images to resize them from the ACP.
Or, maybe .. somebody .. writes an additional hack?
Much appreciated.

Hi all,
Does this MOD work for ({remote_media_file}) input field? In this case the image doesn´t get resized at my site.

rroc, it works now. Many thanks for this mod.

One thing:
Have you already tested whether your mod can also be combined with the ´upload limit´ mod of SLL?

Great Work!

That simple. Thanks a lot guys.

TheOracle, the other news MOD has too many replies crying for help - so I have not tried it.
Is anybody able to modify this news MOD ? For sure the modification can be used on several other sites, too.

TheOracle, thank you for the quick answer, but:
in my index.php there is no code to replace which fits to the one(s) you mentioned above.  :?:

I also checked the original code posted on page one of this MOD .. there is no such code.

Is there a way of only displaying the title when visitors are logged out and when they log in to show the full post?

I use this MOD at a site where confidential data gets posted in the news section. It would be great to hide the actual news block from non-members ..

I installed the solution of Chris and it works great.

I would like to use following modification:
For logged in users both ways, the setting from the control panel AND this mod, should co-exist.
I will add the ´new_images_since_your_last_visit´ into user_logininfo.html so guests will never see it.

Thank you very much in advance.

I use v1.7.1
Following (strange) errors occur:

1st problem:
-----------------
When I try to upload only one picture entered in the FIRST upload field:

Quote
Template Error: Couldn't open Template ./templates/default/media/.html

Nevertheless, the picture is successfully uploaded but additionally the ´404-filenotfound.gif´ appears in the ´new pictures´ listing as a placeholder for a second picture the script obiviously wanted to upload. We cannot force users to mandatory upload more than one picture when using this MOD, right?   )

2nd problem:
------------------
When I try to upload only one picture entered in the SECOND upload field i get redirected to the single upload form.

3rd problem:
-----------------
When I try to upload two pictures, entered in the FIRST AND SECOND upload fields:

Quote
Image added: newname (originalname.jpg)
Error uploading image file:
originalname_2.jpg: Copy error. Please check the directory permissions.

Here it seems that the MOD manages to upload the first picture and then looks for a file called originalname_2.jpg and NOT for originalname.jpg (the filename I entered in 2nd upload field).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
my member.php is already stuffed with lines of other mods so I cannot simply replace it with the file posted by rroc.
I love the multiupload idea - if it only would work properly. So - has somebody experienced similar things?
