please test me , details page is it working

hello i have been using 4images for 2 years now, my problem i can view all my site, cat pages etc...... but when i try to view the main image :details page i get a blank page i try to view the page source again completely blank, please give me feedback can you view the main images on my site , please click the link to the left . :?:

Hi there,

no :( when i click on an image it shows a blank page. Did you made any changes before you recognice the error ?

PS: Why is the link pointing to an *.htm file ? Your whole site is pointing to htm files ... ??

PPS: The filesize under the thumbnail is pointing to register.php

i have the rewrite mod installed, this mod http://www.4homepages.de/forum/index.php?topic=6729.0  and have had no problems for months, funny thing is i can only view 1 image out of 3000, this image is in a private cat,also i can still comment on this image......

i think this maybe a server issue i am so stressed,

the file size linked to register.php i have now changed thanks for pointing this out

no problem, but for your real problem i don't know a solution, i'am not qualified enough - good luck on this one (great gallery btw) ;)

The only way to trace the problem is look up into the error logs, only there you can get some hint on what is wrong. Ask you host administrator for that.

this is my error log from the server as you can see the errors are not recording, the pages below i know about as i have changed these
i will ring my hosting company and see what they say about this thanks for your help.

@trez thanks for the praise on my gallery, i am proud of what i have done and with the great coding and mods from V@no and other php programmers you have made 4images what it is today thanks for your hard work.

And do these files exist on your server? Check them, sounds like they were deleted, or just don't exist!

these files do not exist as i have deleted them.

okay so i just uploaded a new image it does not work i cannot view it , i the go to my ACP/edit images/ i see the thumbnail i click it the extension is .php and i cannot view the image, my host says this,


If you want to see your image then right click on the image click on view image or copy image location and paste in new browser. When you are clicking on the image then it goes for http://www.mysites.tv/gallery/img1234.htm and there is no such file located in gallery folder but it's orginal path is
http://www.mysite.tv/gallery/data/thumbnails/31/artpictures_ke6f4981.jpg

i do not know what else to do ?????????? do i reinstall the whole gallery
this morning i get no error on my site from the log

thanks i have tried to reinstall, with fantastico (one click install) in my control panel, i get these errors, i will wait for advice, but i have just left a comment on my news image and it get outputted on my index page so some images work at the moment i have found 2 images out of 3000 i can use     :(

Is this all? I mean errors only about missing 3 files? I was looking for errors that shows at the moment the details page was accessed.

This error has nothing to do with 4images...contact your hoster about this one.

  • if you are saying that 2 images you can view, then open edit page and compare them with other images which you can not view. Maybe there you can spot something different about them...

thankyou for your replys , i diid not find an answer from my host i have now reinstalled everything, and replaces all my php files and templates on a clean database, it did not work, so i have now installed a fresh copy restored the database, and am now installing all my mods again one by one, or should i wait for 1.72
