How do I completely remove Captcha from my site?
« on: March 24, 2009, 12:48:07 AM »
My hosting company (Lunarpages) has disabled the Captcha script from my 4images site due to it overloading the server's cache. So, the script is currently disabled as of right now. I've been looking around on the site trying to figure out how to completely remove captcha from my site.

I would like to remove the captcha from all pages including the Registration and Comment page. Also, are there any MODs out there that allow a kind of "are you human?" that I can use instead of Captcha?

Thanks guys. Any help would be appreciated!
A personal THANK YOU to all of the great programmers on this site for helping me get my site from something basic to what it is today!

You might want try Neue Captcha Art / New Captcha Art which wont use your server to generate images, but still will protect from automated spam bots.

P.S.
IMO "are you human" type of protection is useless.
