Mods & Plugins (Requests & Discussions) / "Users Online" Somewhere outside of Images Gallery?

Hey...

I'm not sure if this has already been covered.. I have searched, but all I can ever find is "Latest Users" and stuff.. Nothing that I'm searching for...

I was wondering what code I'd put in my home page, to show who is currently online, at the Image Gallery... Just so you know, the home page is in a different section to the Image Gallery...

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but if it has, could someone please link me to it? Thanks!

Oh, and one more thing.. Does anyone know how to do a SIMPLE "Users Online" script, where it says "2 users online" or something, that is not 4images related? See, I want one for the site (amount of visitors visiting the site) and then another on who is at the Image Gallery...

Discussion & Troubleshooting / Image Magick on Linux - No Thumbnail Created!?

Hi There,

I have searched the forum, and haven't seemed to come across anything, so I'm sorry if I'm just asking yet the SAME question...

Basically, my server is on Linux.. and I am running ImageMagick 5.51! I have gone into "Settings" in the admin, and changed it to use "ImageMagick" as the thumbnailer...

Now I think the problem is, where I write in the path...

I have tried : /usr/bin
as well as : /usr/bin/convert

Could anyone tell me if that is correct, or perhaps there is some ammending I need to do? I have also ticked where it says "Automatically Thumbnail" Any other errors it could be!?

When I upload the image, it says "Image uploaded successfully" but then when I look, the thumbnail is the default "JPG" picture...

If anyone could help me, I'd be very appreciative!

Hey Everyone!

I'd like to thank everyone who helped me with my other problem... Thanks to wonderful people such as yourselves, I was able to resolve the whole "Page Cannot Be Found" but now I got a new error...

When I try to register a new user, I fill in all fields, and then get this message :

Warning: fgets(): supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/s4bmedia.com/httpdocs/vids/includes/email.php on line 185

Email Error: Invalid mail server response (service not ready?):

Could anyone explain what it means, and how to resolve?

Installation, Update & Configuration / What's Going On? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!

Hey!
OK. Well I've done everything I can, and I just don't know what else to do... Basically, I can create categories with ease... And that's fine.. Now I add an image/video (video in this case) and it loads alright... But then I try uploading another (even into different categories) and it says loading... And does that for about 2 mins, then goes onto "Cannot find server"... Does anyone know why this is? And how I can resolve it?

I have tried batch uploading them.. But, my site is on a Safe Server! I then read the post about Safe Server, and how to bypass it, but I still got the same message... So can ANYONE PLEASE HELP!?

I sure hope so... Coz I am very desperate

P.S - I'd just like to add, that when I upload a vid/file, it comes up in my FTP Folder... But doesn't show up on the actual script - why is this? Please someone help.. I'm desperate!!

Whenever I try upload a pic/vid I get this :

Could anyone explain what it means, and tell me how to fix it?

Installation, Update & Configuration / Category Help (Yes, Same Problem Still...) HELP!! :(

Hey again!

WoW! Quite a few questions... And here are the answers  

I have already tried to open up a new server area, and add just a few categories, and then the "Edit Cats" does work... Also tried refreshing the script, trying to get another... Nothing has worked...

I can add Categories  I am able to add quite a few in fact, but I don't, because I can't edit them to where they must go...

It never ever hangs or stops when I'm viewing the images no.. It goes very fast in fact, and loads quickly  

Edit Categories was working once upon a time... It's actually just after I found I had a virus on my computer (gone now) that I realised it never worked (hadn't been online in ages to add/edit any cats tho) So it culd be virus-related...

Modifications or changes? None that I can think of no... Just uploaded a few more pics (about 344 or so)

It appears to be only the "Edit Categories" section... None of the others are giving troubles..

I am running on Windows XP, on my own server... You may say the Windows XP is unstable or something, but why did it ever work then?

OK, I got a reply - YaY Thanx Jan!

But then, if you say there usually is no limit, you have ANY idea why it's doing that? (Not going to "Edit Categories" but does work on all other headings)

I have tried to do it from 2 different computers, and neither work!!

Hey Everyone, can someone help me please!?

Very basically, I go into my Control Panel as usual, and I click on "Edit Categories" - It only ever processes it (where you see the bar, as a sign of how far it's loaded) but that's it.. The rest of the control panel works perfectly, and quickly!
I currently have 324 (or so) categories.. Is that too many? Can I only have a certain amount?
If not, could anyone point me as to why it's doing this? Perhaps there is an edit thing, to allow however many cats?

Hey everyone!!

I just have a quick question...

When I go into my Control Panel and try to Edit Categories, the page never comes up... But adding categories does, as well as editing images and the rest... Just not Edit!

Now, I currently have 334 categories... Is this too many!? Coz I know some sites that have like 384 etc.

Please someone help me!

I am really stressed out, and can't begin to IMAGINE why it is doing this!

Hey Everyone,

I have a fairly simple question, and I'm hoping an answer will be as well!

Right, Here goes :

When I try to upload Videos to my 4images gallery, it uploads some with perfect ease... But then others have troubles... Some errors I get are that it says "Select An Image File!" or also, it just re-directs me to my "Forgot Password" page... Anyone know why this is?
Another thing is that all the videos I try upload, are of the same format.. So that can't be the problem...

Please someone help me ASAP!
